Kaala

"Kaala" is important because it hits hard on the political conspiracies of dividing people, of creating religious riots and oppressing poor and suppressed for the good of power and business. It has tough comments on the corruption, on the trend of poor getting poorer while the elected ones becoming richer and richer. It targets our deep within but still existing human discrimination on the basis of color and also stresses on the importance of being human and remain united. It is authentically shot in Dharavi and tells a story which everyone could relate to...Should relate to...

And then the walking, the talking, the confidence, the look, the roaring dialogue delivery, the mesmerizing presence in almost all the scenes, the fight sequences we love, the flexing of acting muscles and the charisma. The Rajni Anna you were missing in the past few movies is present here in the full glory. Rajni sir makes "Kaala" superlative.
Nana Patekar is here in a mean and meaty role, the confronting scenes between him and Rajni sir are one of the best in cinema. This movie is a special one where you can see 2 actors par excellence coming face to face.
The entire cast is the soul of the movie, each and every actor has given a brilliant and authentic performance.
Full marks to Pa Ranjith for the exemplary direction, handling each frame brilliantly and making each scene effective.
Loads of appreciation for the background music too.
Amazing movie...Just watch it!!
