Kalank

Visually and performance wise "Kalank" mesmerizes but on the front of story telling it is a serious disappointment.

The movie looks beautiful, the scale on which it is made, the setting of the fictional city Husnabad, the sets, the costumes, the camera work, the cinematography..Just wow!! You can't take your eyes off.

And each one in the cast is good. Varun and Alia lead beautifully, Aditya Roy Kapoor delivers a good one, Kunal Khemu, Sonakshi Sinha are good too. 
Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit have comparatively lesser screen time, but they are earnest.

But the movie fails in storytelling, long scenes, heavy dialogues and lack of proper editing make the movie look stretched. The movie just keeps oscillating between the conversation of characters with no action, surprises, twists, turns and thrills and here it makes you feel bore.
The nice sets doesn't hide the fact that there is nothing new in the story, nor the execution has anything different.

All the songs are very good!!

So you have to think for which reasons you go for watching a movie and then decide whether to watch this or not.

Tickets are costly, by the way!!
