The attempt at horror comedy is successful. "Stree" is a clear winner. After a long time, you will find a lot of genuine horror in a Bollywood movie. Yes, it is scary throughout and many times to the extent of making you jump to your seats and also hide your face. And the horror is so brilliantly mixed with comedy that you will get a constant dose of laughter throughout.
Rajkumar Rao is beyond brilliance in his performance, his act takes the script to a different high. Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee are also superb in their performances. Shraddha Kapoor brings a lot of charm and freshness to the story. Taking as a whole, the performances are the real strength of the film.
It is a definite watch...A brilliant entertainer...It deserves all the wait and hype around it.
