Listening to Udit Narayan after so long is refreshing, it is the first thing I want to write about "Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi".
Like it's a prequel, this movie too has genuine laughter throughout. However, most of the credit goes to the actors this time.
Sonakshi is in the lead and she does the job very well. Jassi Gill in his debut is superb. The actor playing Fa Kyu is hilarious. But the real charm is the jugalbandi of Jimmy Shergill and Piyush Mishra. About Mr. Shergil- whenever he comes on screen, the movie gets a fresh new life again.
Raja Bundela is seen after a long time.
The music is good too.
However, better editing could have improved the watchability of the movie, making the running time lesser. Also a cameo by Abhay Deol, I feel would have enhanced the flavor.
Thoroughly enjoyable...A nice family entertainer!!
