"Fanney Khan" is a feel good, simple and beautiful movie but the forever 18-year-old actor playing the title role makes it special. He started his career some four decades ago and since then has played every role with perfect naturality and conviction. His energy is infectious in his every movie and the best thing is that he lives his character in every film. This actor better known as "Anil Kapoor" has once again delivered a masterstroke and is the soul and shine of the movie.
The story is touching and the execution very interesting, the movie looks colorful and the brilliant Rajkumar Rao and mesmerizing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan add more colors to it. Girish Kulkarni in his another meaty role is superlative and Satish Kaushik in a couple of scenes is very adorable.
Pihu Sand in her debut is a good performer but her character demanded some better writing and more horizons.
It is a perfect weekend outing for your family. A sweet, simple entertainer with ample scope for emotions supplemented with very good songs.
Go for it...It is of the category of the "Paisa Vasool" picture.
